CSM Wills enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1984. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia. During his previous 28-years of service, CSM Wills has served in a variety of professionally rewarding and developmental positions across the Army in the operating and generating force.

CSM Wills is currently employed as the CEO of Appalachian Paving & Excavation, LLC; Beckley Asphalt & Paving Company, LLC; Beckley Concrete, LLC, and AP&E Properties, LLC all located in Beckley, West Virginia. CSM Wills is a graduate of Drury University located in Springfield, Missouri. He holds a Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed.), BS and AS in English. He also is retired from the United States Army Reserve Technician Program after 22-years of service.

CSM Wills is the proud father of Courtney, a Pediatric Nurse of Dixon, MO; Daniel, Operations Manager of Appalachian Paving and Excavation, LLC of Beckley, West Virginia; Paige Riley “Tuffy” and Jace. CSM Wills and his wife, Lisa, currently reside in Beckley, West Virginia.
