352nd Civil Affairs Command Distinctive Unit Insignia
Purple and white are the colors traditionally used by Civil Affairs units. The sword, scroll and globe reflect the branch insignia. The sword also simulates the Washington Monument, located within the organization's home area. The oak leaves refer to strength; the sword hilt embodies the principle of control, and with the scroll signifies a determined stability not accomplished solely by force of arms. The black in the motto scroll relates to jurisprudence and the motto reflects the reconstruction aspects of the unit's mission.
