Supporting the Employment Success of Returning Service Members with TBI & PTSD
The United States Army Reserve is working with the U.S. Department of Labor to educate employers on how to identify, accomodate and help their employees suffering from deployment-related Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
The Department of Labor has developed, in conjunction with partners throughout government, healthcare, and private industry, a robust set of tools for Employers - all easily accessible at the America's Heroes at Work website. Designed for employers and the workforce development system, this Web site is your link to information and tools to help returning service members affected by TBI and/or PTSD succeed in the workplace - particularly service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
The site contains fact sheets, reference materials, training tools, and guides for employers use.
