The 5th Battle Command Training Brigade, is the premier trainer of Battle Command  Staff and Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS); meeting the needs of today’s modern, multi-component Army.

This brigade is responsible for providing Battle Command Staff Training to battalion and brigade level unit staffs by educating, training and mentoring. Training includes all aspects of Battle Command Operations to include the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Battle Command Digital C2 Systems (ABCS), Counter-Insurgency Operations (COIN), Intelligence Preparation (IPB), Battle Staff Operations, Battle Staff NCO Operations, and other critical tasks essential to mission accomplishment.

Our training encompasses the entire tri-component Army – Active Component Army, the Army Reserve and the National Guard.  We provide high quality, creative and value-added solutions for our client units’ BCST needs. Our trainers come from every corner of military service with a wide variety of training backgrounds. We are driven to be the best – whatever the task.  We constantly seek improvement through innovation, doctrinal fluency and education, and shared vision.

Although primarily based out of Camp Parks - Dublin, CA, we have satellite units across the western United States in many major metropolitan areas including: Denver, CO, Los Angeles, CA, Phoenix, AZ, and Vancouver, WA.
