2012 Army Reserve Earth Day Message   

Each year on April 22, the Army Reserve joins the Nation in celebrating Earth Day.  It is a day to appreciate the value of our natural resources and an opportunity to raise the awareness of the environmental and cultural heritage that is essential to the long term health and well-being of our Nation.

America Recycles Day   

On America Recycles Day, I encourage each Reserve Soldier, Family member, Civilian, and contractor to respond to our collective responsibility to be better stewards of our natural environment and to pass down a planet to future generations that is better than we found it.

No Excuses! Bonuses at stake for Soldiers with unexcused absences   

Recent changes to the Army Reserve Selected Reserve Incentive Program may put Soldiers with unexcused absences at risk of losing their bonuses.

Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Repeal   

Today marks the end of "Don't Ask Don't Tell." The law is repealed. From this day forward, gay and lesbian Soldiers may serve in our Army with the dignity and respect they deserve.

that the Bill will be forwarded shortly for the President's signature and will

One hundred and forty-seven years ago, in the midst of a great and terrible civil conflict, President Abraham Lincoln formally proclaimed a national day of Thanksgiving to remind those "insensible to the ever watchful providence of almighty God" of this Nation's bounty and greatness.

Employer Partnership: Building a Stronger Workforce for America's Soldiers   

Our efforts to bring value to our Service members are on-going. An example is the recent launch of our new, state-of-the-art job and employee search application. Among other exciting features, the new application provides employers with the ability to reach into the system and efficiently find candidates who best meet their workforce needs.

Mr. Steve Austin to Become New Army Reserve Director of Resource Management and Material Core Enterprise   

LTG Stultz is pleased to announce that the Secretary of the Army has approved the selection and assignment of Mr. Steve Austin as the Army Reserve Director of Resource Management and Material Core Enterprise effective December 5, 2010.  Steve, a retired Army colonel and current SES, joins us from the Department of Commerce.
