The Army Reserve, over 200,000 Warrior-Citizens strong, is well-versed at providing humanitarian assistance in the region and has supported numerous major relief missions, including a previous mission to Haiti in Sept. 2008.
In addition to providing critical military specialties like those now heading for Haiti, Army Reserve Soldiers bring their civilian skills and capabilities, creating a deeper reservoir of talent and improving America’s return on investment in the military.
