Agnew (right), a Chippewa Falls, Wisch., native serving operations officer, 143d ESC, pour fresh soil into a newly installed garden bed Jan. 27, 2017, at the Colonialtown North Community Garden in Orlando, Fla. Alfred, Agnew and five other Army Reserve Soldiers joined scores of volunteers from the Orlando community to help bring the garden back to its former, greener glory. Directed by Green Works Orlando in conjunction with the NFL’s Environmental Program, the garden’s revival was one of the many community projects both organizations managed to lighten the environmental footprint produced by the tens of thousands of football fans who have flocked to The City Beautiful to watch the NFL’s first Pro Bowl game to take place in the Continental U.S. since 1979.
