Command Sgt. Maj. Freddy Trejo

Command Sgt. Maj., 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command

CSM Freddy Trejo joined the United States Army on 2 June 1989 and attended Basic Training on 16, August 1989 at Fort Leonard wood, Mo. After graduating Basic Combat Training, CSM Trejo attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard wood, Mo. After successfully graduating on 15 December 1989 he was awarded a Military Occupational Specialty of 62B10 Construction Equipment Repairer.

He has served the Army faithfully since 1989. During this time he has held a variety of Leadership positions from Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant through Command Sergeant Major. He has led Soldiers at all levels of Maintenance from Shop Foreman to Senior Maintenance Supervisor.

CSM Trejo’s military and civilian education includes the Combat Lifesaver Course, Military Transition Advisor Course (MiTT), Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer’s Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer’s Course, First Sergeant Course, Sergeants Major Academy, and Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education (SEJPME) Level I and II. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University.

His deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom I- February 2003, Operation Iraqi Freedom VII (Surge) -July 2007, Operation Enduring Freedom Guantanamo Bay, Cuba- June 2016, and Operations supporting Inherent Resolve, Spartan Shield, and Freedom Sentinel, Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan- 2020.CSM Trejo’s awards include: Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Metal (3OLC), Army Commendation Medal (2OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1SOLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (2BC2L), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (1SOLC, 2OLC), National Defense Service Medal (1 BSS), Iraq Campaign Medal (1 BSS), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces service  Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal (gold hourglass, "M"), Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 4), Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon and the Drivers and Mechanics Badge.

CSM Trejo is married to the former Sylvia Corona of Los Angeles, Ca, and has five children, Samantha, Julia, Gabriella, Ashley, and Matthew.
