469th Engineer Company Soldiers explode into action
U.S. Army Reserve Soldier blast open a door at Fort McCoy, Wis., on July 16, 2021. The Soldiers are Combat Engineers with the 469th Engineer Company, Machesney Park, Ill., and are training on the construction and deployment of half a dozen different explosive charges. The day's agenda included the execution of door and wall breaches, so all the Soldiers in the unit got to experience the making and detonation of live charges.
