Soldiers test for Expert Field Medical Badge at Fort McCoy
Capt. Trent Muhlenburg, an emergency room nurse from Ames, Iowa assigned to the Army Reserve's 7456th Medical Operational Readiness Unit, moves the patient to safety during an Expert Field Medical Badge event held May 16-22 at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. This EFBM event is the first hosted by Army Reserve, and offers an opportunity for Soldiers in the medical field to earn the special skill award by demonstrating exceptional competence and outstanding performance in Soldier and medical tasks. Less than twenty percent of candidates pass the challenging test.
