Army Reserve units train on physical security
U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Dave Mercado, Force Protection NCO, 85th Support Command, gives remarks during an Army Reserve Physical Security Workshop held at the Army Reserve’s 85th Support Command headquarters, Feb. 6-7, 2018. The two-day workshop, conducted by Physical Security Inspectors assigned to the 88th Readiness Division, provided training to Soldiers on the physical security program, and assisted students in implementing security barriers to unit-assigned equipment and facilities. While the primary audience was made up of Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 85th Support Command, and operationally controlled by First Army, Soldiers assigned to Army Reserve commands across the country also participated in the training event. Completion of the training course certifies Soldiers as unit physical security officers. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Anthony L. Taylor)
