Army Reserve Soldiers mobilize to train and equip a ready force
Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Corey Thigpen, future operations non-commissioned officer in-charge assigned to the 85th Support Command’s 3/335th Training Support Battalion, based out of Fort Sheridan, Illinois, catches his breath after a battalion post run at Fort Hood, Texas, March 28, 2017. The 3/335th TSBn, operationally controlled by First Army, recently began a one-year mobilization to train and equip Army Reserve and National Guard units ahead of overseas deployments to remain effective as the most capable, combat ready and lethal Federal Reserve force in the history of the nation. Thigpen shared that this is his last duty assignment and will be retiring shortly after his unit returns home. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Sgt. Aaron Berogan)
