Sgt. 1st Class Mark Korte currently with Company D, 457th Civil Affairs Battalion, 7th Mission Support Command, stands with the 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment in June 1989 during a U.S. Army Europe Cavalry Cup Competition back when Korte was a Regular Army active-duty Soldier.
