Victory Tower
Pvt. Alisa Hamilton, E Company 2nd Battalion, 39th Infantry Regiment, stands ready on belay for Soldiers in basic combat training who are repelling down the 40-foot wall at Victory Tower on Fort Jackson, S.C., Oct. 28, 2015. The Soldier on belay serves as a safety for the Soldier repelling. In the event of a free-fall, the belay will pull straight down on the rope to stop the repeller almost instantly.
