Army Reserve activates first watercraft brigade
Pvt. 2 Seth Thorndell Rutter, 1098th Transportation Detachment (Medium Boat), throws a line from a Landing Craft Mechanized watercraft (LCM) to another Soldier to secure it for unloading operations at Fort Story during Terminal Warrior 2015. The Logistics-Over-the-Shore (LOTS) exercise took place in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia from mid July through mid August and included Reserve, National Guard and Active Duty units focused on cohesion and sharpening proficiency in basic LOTS skills as part of the Total Army Concept.
