US Army Reserve's 79th SSC Best Warrior Competition brings out the best
U.S. Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Christopher Tubrick, competitor, shoots his azimuth during the land navigation event of the Army Reserve 79th Sustainment Support Command 2013 Best Warrior Competition at Camp Pendleton Calif., April 6. The Best Warrior Competition is a multi-event competition, which tests Soldiers both physically and mentally in various military topics and activities. At the conclusion of the three-day event, one Soldier and one Non-Commissioned Officer is selected to be awarded the title 79th SSC Best Warrior and represent the command in the U.S. Army Reserve Best Warrior Competition scheduled to be held at Fort McCoy, Wis., 23-28 June. A total of six Army Reserve Soldiers, who were selected from more than 20,000 Warrior-Citizens, competed for the title 79th SSC “Best Warrior.” The 79th SSC Best Warrior Competition winners of 2013 are Staff Sgt.
