Guidon up the steps
Fort Hood, Texas- Hundreds of Soldiers assigned to the 35th Expeditionary Signal Battalion (ESB), 1st Mission Support Command (1st MSC), U.S. Army Reserve-Puerto Rico, based in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, recently departed Texas toward the Middle East, after completing their mobilization training. The unit, which is part of the largest US Army command in the Caribbean, will be providing tactical communications support through the Central Command area of operations to several units, enabling senior commanders to maintain command and control of their respective missions. The deployment of the 35th ESB showcases the 1st MSC, U.S. Army Reserve-Puerto Rico’s ability to mobilize anywhere, anytime in continuous support to the needs of the nation. The US Army Reserve-Puerto Rico has mobilized over 5,000 troops since September 2001.
