ARMEDCOM unit prepared to deliver vital medical capabilities essential to the force
Spc. Karahn Yates, a U.S. Army Reserve Soldier with Army Reserve Medical Command’s 7227th Medical Support Unit, discusses a series of symptoms with a Soldier who is participating in a training scenario to test Yates’ responses as a behavioral health specialist during patient inprocessing. The scenarios placed on Soldiers within the 7227th are training and validation injects in preparation for the unit’s upcoming mobilization in support of Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s Deployed Warrior Medical Management Center. Soldiers assigned to the 7227th MSU, out of Columbia, Missouri, have been working alongside 1st Army Division West’s observer coach/trainers with 4th Battalion (Medical), 393rd Infantry Regiment in North Fort Hood for three weeks in preparation for their upcoming mission.
