Command Sergeant Major Scott A. Hinton enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on October 2nd 1985 and attended basic training at Parris Island, SC. Sergeant Major attended his service school at the School of Infantry, Camp Lejeune, NC and served in the Marine Corps until 1987. Command Sergeant Major Hinton’s mobilizations and deployments include deploying to Haiti as a Senior Psychological Operations NCO 1995 -1996. OIF 1SG and Operations Sergeant mobilizations from 2002 – 2004, OIF deployment as a Company First Sergeant from 2004 – 2006, OEF mobilization as the 10th PSYOP BN Command Sergeant Major from 2009 -2010, and mobilization as the 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command Rear Detachment Command Sergeant Major, and interim Command Sergeant Major for the 310th Expeditionary Sustainment Command.
