Mr. Jon D. Lee

Command Executive Officer/Deputy Supervisor for Management Support, 9th Mission Support Command

Mr. Jon D. Lee serves as the senior civilian for the 9th Mission Support Command. He is responsible for supporting daily operations for the Commanding General, Deputy Commanding Officer and Chief of Staff. In addition, he is responsible in supporting the following staff functions: Personnel Administration, Logistics, Force Development, Comptroller, Information Management, Safety, Surgeon, Chaplain, Public Affairs, Internal Review, Historian and Recruiting/Retention.

Mr. Lee reviews the 9th MSC’s standard levels of baseline services for all subordinate units. He confirms that the command has a workable EO and EEO program and is the chief executive lead for the following command committees and boards: Contract Review Board, Command Real Property and Planning Board, MWR Committee, Community Health Prevention Council, Cost Management Board and the Labor Relations Committee.

Mr. Lee has served in numerous positions within the 9th Mission Support Command including: Staff Training Administrator and Supervisory Staff Administrator for 100th Battalion 442d Infantry, Staff Operations and Training Specialist for the Deputy Chief of Staff G3, and Supervisory Staff Training Officer for the Deputy Chief of Staff G7 9th Mission Support Command.

Mr. Lee retired from the Army Reserve with over 30 years of service in May 2015 at the rank of Brigadier General. During his Army Reserve tenure Mr. Lee served as the Commanding General of the 91st Training Division (OPS) at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA and the Deputy Commanding General and Acting Commanding General of the 63rd Regional Support Command at Mountain View, CA.

Mr. Lee earned a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Santa Clara, CA and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
