Command Chief Warrant Officer

Chief Warrant Officer Five David Carrier was born on Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was raised in Tampa, Florida. He enlisted in the Army in January 1995. He attended basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and completed his Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia, as a Radio Repairmen. In February 2003, Chief Warrant Officer Five Carrier entered the Warrant Officer Candidate Program to become a 948B (Electronic Systems Maintenance Technician).

Chief Warrant Officer Five Carrier served in multiple Operational and Training commands. His previous Warrant Officer assignments include 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment and 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Carson, Colorado, 501st Sustainment Brigade in Korea, US Central Command Headquarters in Tampa, Warrant Officer Training Division at Fort Gordon, Georgia, Office of The Inspector General at the Pentagon, and Army Sustainment Command at Rock Island Arsenal.

Chief Warrant Officer Five Carrier completed all phases of his Professional Military Education (PME) in the Warrant Officer Education System and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He is a Demonstrated Master Logistician through the International Society of Logistics.

His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Combat Action Badge, the Senior Parachutist Badge, the Pathfinder Badge, the Army Staff Identification Badge, and the Army Drill Sergeant Identification Badge.

Chief Warrant Officer Five Carrier and his wife Angelique have been married for 22 years.
