COLUMBIA, S.C. - Brig. Gen. Louis Mitchell, commanding general of the 94th Training Division, speaks at the Reserve Recruiting Partnership Council (R2PC) hosted by the Columbia Recruiting Battalion at the 81st Readiness Division headquarters today. The purpose of the R2PC event was to establish a communication pathway between personnel at the Columbia Recruiting Battalion, Army Reserve unit commanders, Army Reserve Careers Group, and others. All unit commanders, command sergeants major, first sergeants, unit training officers and administrators within the footprint of the Columbia Recruiting Battalion were encouraged to attend. Maj. Gen. Bob Harter, commanding general of the 81st RD, gave opening remarks. Army Reserve Ambassadors Jim Cardo, Jeff Jacobs, and Sam Brick also attended the event and provided insight on ways that ARAs can assist both new and senior Soldiers.
