Gisenyi, - Members from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa’s 411th Civil Affairs Battalion (CA), partnered with members of the Rwandan Defense Force to perform an assessment of border posts in Gisenyi, Rwanda, Feb. 19, 2020. The CA team was part of a “High-Consequence Pathogen” team that looked at procedures at three border posts along the west and southwest borders of Rwanda, and evaluated the effectiveness of keeping diseases such as Ebola out of the country.
