Overview 

The Military Intelligence Readiness Command (MIRC) is an Army Reserve Intelligence Command headquarters located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  The command is comprised of over 40 strategic and tactical intelligence units located throughout the United States.

As an intelligence network for the Army Reserve, the MIRC partners with national agencies and combatant commands.  Our mission is to provide ongoing intelligence support throughout the national intelligence community. 

Mission

The mission of the MIRC is to enable the ongoing intelligence requirements of the Army, Combatant Commands, Combat Support Agencies, and other services by providing trained and ready Soldiers; mission-tailored teams and units; and state-of-the-art intelligence production and training facitilites.  The MIRC is located at Fort Belvoir.  The MIRC enjoys a dynamic and synergistic relationship with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), which is enhanced by the Commanding General, INSCOM, providing space for the MIRC Command Group to work within the Nolan Building.  The Commanding General, United States Army Reserve, fully supports the partnership, and is committed to it growing in strength and operational relevance.
