November 17, 2017 - The Army Reserve’s 88th Readiness Division, which traces its lineage to the 88th Infantry Division, celebrated the 100th anniversary of its activation at Camp Dodge, Iowa, on Aug. 19.
November 17, 2017 - The Army Reserve’s 80th Training Command, a legacy unit of the 80th Infantry Division, hosted the 80th Division Veteran’s Association here on September 16 to commemorate the unit’s history. The event took place at the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum, and the U.S. Army Women’s Museum, which are co-located here.
November 16, 2017 - The 80th Training Command's 2017 Instructor of the Year Competition brought out a competitive edge in its candidates. Twenty-five Army Reserve instructors from across the command's three training divisions and the 4960th Multifunctional Training Brigade contended for the top prize here on Oct. 20-22, 2017.
November 16, 2017 - The United States Department of Energy honored the Army Reserve with two Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) awards this year.
November 16, 2017 - Trucks, contracted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, arrived filled with boxes of groceries in the town at a local church today. Gathered together, volunteers from Samaritan’s Purse, volunteers from local churches, and U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 402nd Civil Affairs Battalion, 350th Brigade, 1st Mission Support Command, waited outside in the hot sun for the first arrival.
November 15, 2017 - In keeping with the Department of Defense’s commitment to honor it’s fallen warriors, the Port Mortuary was established in 1955 at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
